What is Restorative Hypnotherapy?
A relaxing mind-body experience that incorporates elements of hypnosis, guided meditation and restorative yoga. By guiding you to a healing state, the mind can begin to unravel and release locked tension from your cells to restore you to your true self.

Group Restorative Relaxation Sessions
A guided session can achieve similar results to one on one sessions for deep relaxation and restoration. Shared intentions and healing in a group setting. No one is required to share personal details, only general intentions by choice. Up to 10 participants live over Zoom.

I came to Avital seeking for a full reset after an emotionally traumatic month. My body was manifesting stress to the point I was nauseous and tension headaches making it near impossible to redirect myself with my usual grounding techniques. I was having intrusive thoughts. I couldn’t sleep, barely had more than 3 minutes of REM sleep at night, I drank more coffee than water, TMJ was getting worse – I was a sobbing mess. I sought out restorative hypnotherapy while I was sick with what was likely COVID-19. I had been sick for a couple of weeks and was struggling with fear and uncertainty of a virus that we know little about. I worried constantly about my health. I thought hypnotherapy might help me to disrupt my anxious thought patterns, which it did. The sessions took me on journey into a deeply relaxed, healing state. My body and mind felt peaceful, like a nice post-massage buzz. Avital’s calming words and gentle way of speaking made it easy for me to “let go.” Despite the online nature of our session, the sessions were beneficial. In the months that followed our time together, I felt better and began a daily meditation practice, something that always felt too overwhelming to commit to. I believe the sessions helped me manifest the positive change.

Being new to Restorative Hypnotherapy, I was excited to incorporate more positive feelings with my healing journey. Avital provided a very safe and compassionate presence which helped me relax into our sessions as I followed her instructions to the “T.” Positioning my posture in a certain way made the hypnosis a very calming experience, especially with the added chanting track. I found myself counting on our recordings whenever I felt overwhelmed or anxious. It’s a relief to know that listening frequently reduces my anxiety and simultaneously reinforces the positive messaging built into the recordings. I was a little nervous for my first session of hypnosis as I had never experienced this before, but with Avital’s guidance I felt very at ease and hopeful. Avital has a very soothing voice, calm and confident demeanor, that helped deepen the experience for me. I have always wanted to try meditation for different reasons. To help with sleep at night and for general health and good breathing practice. The session helped me to learn how to breathe and relax, to fall asleep more easily. Also, I have learned how to relax my muscles and found that I have less intense pain in my neck. I have COPD and I get stressed very easily. I figured I would try hypnotherapy. Well, the hypnosis started with a very calming voice telling me to relax, how to relax. She quietly kept talking to me, soothing away my anxiety, telling me how to do this. Soon I felt a lightness, sort of sleepy. A sense of well being, it was a wonderful feeling. I have used the recording over and over to recapture those lovely sensations. It has not let me down. To have COPD and to have a sense of wellbeing is worth a million dollars as far as I’m concerned.
